Special vehicles are used in a wide range of applications. Accordingly, the requirements for the used hydraulics vary. In the area of road vehicles a higher level of safety (SIL, Safety Integral Level) is required. Thomas is constantly meeting these safety requirements through new product developments. One example of this process is the development of the Electrohydraulic Actuator (EHA), which meets these target requirements with a redundant sensor system and an independent electronic control unit.
